The contest allows 45 pages. You might want to revisit your manuscript with a very sharp knife. A book can be titled 55 Stones and contain 45 poems, no?
There were two things I was sorry about with my first book. One of them was leaving in poems for filler. I am sorry now that I didn’t excise them when I still had a chance.
yeah, that is probably a better idea. i’m sure i put some pieces in there that are probably not up to snuff, even for a b-list.
